4:27 (Dow Jones) Scotiabank says secondary yield spreads in Canada's corporate bond market were largely unchanged on the week. But there has been investor appetite for some longer-dated issues with solid yield, such as in the cable sector, where Cogeco bonds finally rallied nicely, it says. "With earnings season keeping a lot of the Canadian non-financial issuers busy this week, the primary market was dominated by the banks, with two deposit note issues," it says. "Secondary trading seemed to be primarily focused in deposit note trading around these new issues."
