Canada's official international reserves fell $250 million in the week
ended July 8, the Bank of Canada reported on its website.
At July 8, the official international reserves totaled $65.968
billion, compared with $66.218 billion on June 29.
The reserves included:
-U.S. dollars, $34.898 billion;
-other foreign currencies, $18.211 billion;
-gold, $173 million;
-special drawing rights, $8.566 billion;
-reserve position in the International Monetary Fund, $4.120 billion.
All reserve figures are reported in U.S. funds.
