2012.07.09 22:52:36 MARKET TALK: EUR/USD Bounce Likely Only a Short-Term Respite -BNZ

16:52 EDT - Risk appetite remains muted and a slight bounce in EUR/USD
is likely a "short-term respite as opposed to a real change in
sentiment toward the single currency," says BNZ FX Strategist Kymberly
Martin. The pair is at 1.2315 early in New Zealand. She says the focus
will remain on continued comments drifting out from the EU finance
ministers meeting, although there will also be some focus on the China
trade balance data. She says the pair has support at 1.2250 while
resistance is at 1.2400. (rebecca.howard@wsj.com)
