0709 GMT [Dow Jones] The Turkish lira will likely remain flat amid a
slight strengthening in risk appetite, with TRY currency basket having
eased toward 2.02 Tuesday, in line with other emerging-market
currencies, according to Turk Ekonomi Bankasi, or TEB. "We think a
flat pattern is more likely, as the market is waiting for the Fed
minutes, scheduled to be released after the market closes in Turkey,"
notes an analyst with the bank. Markets will also eye Turkey's
current-account deficit data. USD/TRY currently trades at 1.8144,
compared with 1.8168 late Tuesday.(yeliz.candemir@dowjones.com)
