MARKET TALK: Commerzbank Mulls Possible Greek Exit Hit On EUR

Commerzbank mulls possible Greek exit impact on EUR noting that such a scenario would likely create increased volatility without much trend initially. Beyond that its important to look at capital flows, the bank says noting that any Greek exit from the euro-zone could accelerate the already high speed of capital flight. "This would certainly trigger a new severe round of the euro-zone debt crisis..And this time the EUR exchange rates might come under more pressure than so often in the past," the bank says. Adds, whatever policymakers try to do to prevent contagion from a Greek exit, such as further long-term LTRO's and new bailout packages would likely negatively impact the EUR.
