0251 GMT [Dow Jones] The USD/PHP is lower, tracking the EUR's rebound against the USD as concerns over Greece's sovereign debt problems ease following a bias for pro-austerity parties in opinion polls ahead of next month's elections. The pair is at 43.63 from 43.75 late Friday; volume is still thin. Heavy inflows from overseas Filipino workers that have accumulated over the weekend are also providing the PHP with support, says a local bank trader. He tips next support at 43.50, with resistance at 43.80.
