0235 GMT [Dow Jones] Taiwan government bonds are higher amid weaker
stocks (the Taiex is down 0.4%) as investors seek safer assets ahead
of the outcomes of the ECB and FOMC meetings, say two local trader.
"Some market participants are turning cautious about the outcome of
the central bank meetings...they think Europe's debt problems may not
be that easy to solve," says one of them. The most-traded 10-year bond
yield falls to 1.1630% from 1.1730% at Tuesday's close; the yield is
tipped to stay in a 1.1550%-1.1700% band for the session. The
five-year bond yield is at 0.8965% from 0.9015%, and a 0.8950%-0.9000%
